The Advancement Operations Coordinator is responsible for providing operations support for marketing and development efforts under the scope of the Advancement department. This includes the management of all donation data entry, donor database oversight, fundraising reporting, website fundraising platforms management, donor acknowledgment and recognition, and volunteer coordination. This position also helps with tasks related to major events including the annual Hope for Houston Ball, The Walk to End HIV, as well as Camp Hope and Pride participation. This position plays a critical role in providing all Advancement logistics to ensure proper donor relationship management, event success and functional daily operations. This position is currently fully remote but will require occasional in-person meetings at various locations depending on projects and events.
The Client Services Specialist is primarily responsible for meeting with and being the primary point of contact for Allies in Hope clients. The Client Services Specialist (CSS) is responsible for determining if Allies in Hope is able to service clients; if not, they will be provided with referrals to other agencies and service organizations. The CSS will provide assessments, schedule appointments, and help participants access Stone Soup. The CSS will support the Continuum of Care (CoC) process for coordinated access and will ensure quick placement into housing facilities by coordinating intake times and providing initial interviews for the Program Coordinators. The CSS will also manage the connection to Allies in Hope and the COC system. Additional specific supports to all housing clients regarding obtaining mainstream benefits and ACA navigation are the responsibility of the CSS. The CSS sets appointments and provides follow-up phone calls for intakes. Additionally, the CSS is responsible for building appropriate documentation, through multiple databases and case notes to demonstrate supportive services provided to the client. The position is also responsible for ensuring the basic operational functions of the front office reception and client areas.
This role is responsible for the successful integration of client’s who are recently released from incarceration into the housing program to ensure expected outcomes regarding, linkage to care, to needed social services in a timely and coordinated manner utilizing public, private, and community resources to decrease service gaps and remove barriers for individuals living with disabilities and/or HIV. The Community Health Worker utilizes the assessments and professional discretion to help individual develop a service plan, to help individuals manage their potential barriers, and empowers participants to increase their skills and/or income, promote greater self- determination, and maintain stable housing. The CHW is responsible for ensuring individuals in the housing programs are living at a level of hygiene and cleanliness to maximize their health. Additionally, the Community Health Worker (CHW) is responsible for building appropriate documentation, through multiple databases, case notes, case review (with other CHWs) to develop the required on-going and complete assessment and plan to support the individual’s success.
The Community Health Worker reports to the Prevention Coordinator and is part of the healthcare team working to improve rates at which clients affected by HIV are retained in care and adherent to ARTs by conducting community-based and in-home outreach and short-term (between 3-6 months) care coordination and providing outreach, HIV testing, and counseling services to high-risk clients. This includes providing rapid HIV testing, social support, informal counseling, outreach activities, and intensive navigation support to help clients address needs that make it challenging to stay healthy, including transportation, housing, insurance benefits, mental health, substance use, stigma, food, and in navigating complex care and support systems. This position requires working some evenings and weekends in the community and requires good judgment and independent thinking skills.
This position is primarily responsible for being the primary point of contact for days, evenings, and some weekends, to address Allies in Hope housing clients for day-to-day milieu concerns, problem-solving resident concerns, overseeing Tenant Councils, and ensuring evening and weekend activities. The HCSS acts as a member of the housing team to ensure safety, security, and program needs are met. The HCSS will provide gas and travel vouchers (based on availability) for clients to appointments, access Allies in Hope’s groups, additional services, and Stone Soup. The HCSS will ensure quick placement into housing facilities by being available during extended hours for move-in access. Additionally, the HCSS is responsible for building appropriate documentation, through multiple databases and case notes to demonstrate supportive services provided to the client. Works evenings and weekends.

The LSCM is responsible for ensuring individuals in the housing programs are living at a level of hygiene and cleanliness to maximize their health. Additionally, the LS/Case Manager (LSCM) is responsible for building appropriate documentation, through multiple databases, case notes, case review (with other LSCMs) to develop the required on-going and complete assessment and plan to support the individual's success.
The Maintenance Assistance's central functions ensure basic sanitary standards for the property by managing basic janitorial tasks and safety by monitoring the property. This position is responsible for performing necessary repairs, preventive maintenance, and property landscaping to keep all buildings and equipment functioning at a high level of efficiency. The Maintenance Assistant works on projects at all locations of AIH and is required to travel from locations.
